Assen is known as "The Cathedral" of motorbike racing, a high speed flowing circuit that has been a fixture of the MotoGP calendar since 1949. A narrow, challenging track, adored by fans and riders, Assen's rapid direction changes and numerous overtaking spots put the riders to the test. .
